With more and more professionals adopting smartphones as part of their business practice, distracted driving is a growing problem. While texting is not as common as it is among teens, many workers are constantly reading and responding to emails. The Lawyerist blog acknowledges that while ignoring the phone altogether is the safest option, some are simply unable to resist. They recommend the DriveSafe.ly application to read emails aloud, keeping hands and eyes focused on driving.
